Six teams get going with a start-up scholarship

After fierce competition, six start-up teams at HTW Berlin have qualified for the Berlin Start-up Scholarship (in German). Congratulations to arekapak, Auf Augenhöhe, Bricolage, Monitorfish, Nedeso and Spreaducation! The teams have between January and June to work on their prototypes, hone their business models and prepare for their market launch. This is all possible thanks to start-up scholarships worth 2,000 euros per month and team member, plus support from mentors and coaches. The next application round for the Berlin Start-up Scholarship begins in March 2018. Think you've got what it takes? If so, arrange an appointment at the Start-up Competence Centre or attend the Idea Check on 24 January (in German) so the team can thoroughly check your ideas. Immediate feedback is guaranteed!

The concept also impressed the Confederation of German Employers' Association - the Computer Science and Business Administration study programme received the Employers' Award 2017, a prize which is endowed with 10,000 euros.
