01.01. to 05.02.2017: Re-registration for the summer semester 

Please pay the semester fee for the coming semester by 05.02.2017. If you are late and only re-register by 01.03.2017, you will have to pay a late penalty fee. Please remember to validate your student card for the new semester. More information

Please register on time for examinations in the first examination period via the LSF.

Teaching evaluation: give us your feedback!

We want to know what you think about your lectures. What are your lecturers good at? How could they improve? Between 09.01. and 22.01.2017 an online survey is being conducted to evaluate lectures in faculties 2 and 4, the BIfAW study programmes MBAE and MPMD as well as the Foreign Languages Centre. A licence to read: IEEE Xplore database available in the library

As of 2017, the IEEE Xplore / Electronic Library Online (IEL) full text database will be available to all users of the university library. The database provides access to approximately 4 million publications in the technical field, making it especially useful to students enrolled on technical and engineering study programmes. The database can be accessed via the webOPAC.

 
 
  1 Euro coin on a book  

Deposits for locker keys no longer required!

Leaving a deposit in exchange for a locker key is now a thing of the past in the reading rooms on the Treskowallee campus. New lockers are now available in the library and reading room area. You will need a 1-euro coin to operate the lockers. Out of consideration for other students, please only use the lockers while you are using the reading rooms.

3D figures: three entrepreneurs report on their start-up on 10.01.2017

Toni Weidt, Tino Weidt and Hoàng Huy studied business together at HTW Berlin and founded the company 3DyourBody GmbH during their studies. They now operate three flagship stores in which customers can have 3D pictures made of themselves. The three entrepreneurs will talk about their success and the setbacks they have encountered. Professional help with business ideas - application deadline for the Start-up Lab programme is 12.01.2017

Anyone interested in half a year of professional assistance with developing their business idea can apply for the Start-up Lab programme. In collaboration with Berliner Ideenlabor, the Start-up Competence Centre will be providing intensive support for four start-up teams in the form of workshops and coaching. Topics include the acquisition of financing via funding programmes. More information and application procedure (in German)

Visa service for international students: 2017 support sessions

The International office is offering support for international students wishing to apply for a residence permit or visa extension. Support sessions are available in January, April, July und October. Full details about the procedure can be found in Moodle course "Visa Service".

 
 
 

 

 

DAAD funding to enable international students to complete their studies

International students who are writing their degree thesis in the coming semester can apply for funding from the DAAD under the "Studienabschluss-Stipendium" programme. More information

Three HTW start-up teams awarded Berlin Start-up scholarship

One team is producing cold-pressed coffee, the other is manufacturing IT modules. The third team has launched an online job platform for refugees. The start-up teams from respectively Philosoffee Koldbrew, Supplets and workeer all impressed the panel of representatives from four Berlin universities.
