Update your student card for the new semester

Please remember to validate your student card for the new semester. Check in the LSF first to see whether your re-registration fee has been received by HTW Berlin. Please note the building opening hours: Monday to Friday from 6.30 am to 10.00 pm, Saturday from 6.30 am to 6.00 pm.
 
 
 

 

 

Late re-registration

Late re-registration is also possible after 1 March with a late penalty fee. More information

Information for BIfAW students

If you're enrolled on a BIfAW study programme, the registration deadlines for modules and examinations do not apply to you. You are automatically registered for all modules and examinations when you re-register for the semester.

  Combined word and figurative mark "JUMP in MINT"  

Looking for mentors!

Would you like to share your enthusiasm for engineering or another technical study programme with a schoolgirl interested in a career in this field? If so, the project JUMP in MINT is looking for mentors like you. As a mentor, you'll be helping a schoolgirl with an interest in engineering or technology to make her future career choices. You'll meet once a month to listen to her and give her advice and support. In the accompanying supplementary module "Mentorin werden" ("Become a mentor", 2 ECTS) you'll be prepared for your role as a mentor and career coach. If you're interested, please register with Beatrix Tauber. Start: 18.04.2018, every two weeks, Wednesdays from 3.45 to 7 pm.

Berlin Start-up Scholarship - next round

The Berlin Start-up Scholarship (in German) can help you to implement your business idea. The scholarship is available for teams of up to three people and includes coaching, mentoring, access to labs and workshops and a start-up office space. You and your start-up team have until 29 April 2018 to submit your application. Sound interesting? Then come along to the information event on 27 March 2018 (in German) or make an appointment to find out more at the Start-up Competence Centre!

 
 
 

 

 

Winter University 2018: Discover your strengths, identify your abilities and define your professional goals!

The Winter University organised by the Career Service (in German) from 6 to 8 March 2018 is a chance for you to take stock of where you currently stand with your career, identify your individual skills, strengths and talents, and prioritise your (first) career goals.

German Design Award for campus signage system

A signage system developed by the Berlin-based design company polyform for HTW Berlin's Wilhelminenhof campus, and subsequently also installed at the Treskowallee campus, has won the prestigious German Design Award in the category "Signage and Wayfinding". Industrial design graduate among the top 3 in the Business Plan Competition for Berlin-Brandenburg (BPW)

HTW Berlin graduate Janniná Kluge developed a smart wearable that provides therapeutic support for people with psychosomatic disorders such as dermatillomania (excoriation disorder). Her Skinove concept was among the top 3 submissions selected by the BPW jury. Janniná Kluge studied Industrial Design at HTW Berlin and also completed the Entrepreneurship Summer School at HTW Berlin. The next submission date for the BPW is 13 March 2018. The Start-up Competence Centre will gladly advise you on how to draw up your business plan.
